Scrum practice assessments

Free Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) practice assessment. No paywalls, no charges to unlock answers.

Intended as practice based on Scrum.org certifications. The current one linked is specifically for the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I), however the Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I) has a very heavy overlap with it and almost feels like the same core test, with 50% additional PO specific questions.

Each test comprises of randomly selected questions from a far larger question bank, so every attempt will be different to provide a better learning experience.

The formal assessment comprises of 80 questions, however I’ve created a shorter 20 question test for people to jump in for a quick practice without the heavy time investment.

Agility

New to Scrum? Going to be doing your PSM I or PSPO I certification with Scrum.org? Or simply want a refresher?

I’ve been working with Scrum & other agile teams for a very long time without bothering with formal certification. So when I decided to sit down and do it, I did a bit of reading to refresh my knowledge of by-the-book scrum, resulting in notes for the practice assessment above.

The nature of my role coaching clients in need of guidance means that I’m often thrown into situations, or surrounded by various terms, adaptations, and implementations – which aren’t Scrum. So this was a great opportunity to re-validate that I hadn’t deviated from the core fundamentals and intent.

After working with so many teams and people over the years, I realised sharing this exam prep online would be valuable to others on their journey.

Good luck.
